Line + Shape

‘Line + Shape’ is a partcipatory publication focused on
the responses of a select number of creatives who are Neurodivergent.
The design principles of line and shape have always been prominent in my design process as a Neurodivergent creative.
I regularly start a project by creating analog drawings and collages using these two components. I was curious to discover what results others would produce if asked to partake in a similar creative activity.
I created a set of rules for three drawing tasks which project participants responded too. The first task focused solely on line, the second shape, and the final one on the combination of both. Each task was timed starting from 2 minutes to 5.
For production, the drawings were resized.
